Kindergarten and Preschool registration for the 2024-2025 school year is open online at www.culpeperschools.org
Kindergarten Registration
Children who turn five (5) on or before September 30, 2024 are eligible to attend kindergarten. School attendance for 5-year-olds is not compulsory. If a parent wishes to wait until the child is six (6) years old to register for kindergarten, the Division Superintendent must be notified in writing. The address is:

To register your child, please visit: www.culpeperschools.org. To complete online registration, you will need the following information to meet Virginia Department of Education enrollment requirements:
✔ Your child’s birth certificate
✔ Your child’s immunization record
✔ Custody paperwork (if applicable)
✔ Proof of residence
✔ School Entrance Health form (physical)
The Health Department does physicals by appointment only; call (540) 829-7350 to make an appointment. If you are unsure which school your child should attend, please visit www.culpeperschools.org and click the school locator link on the right hand side.
**School entrance Health form (physical) must be dated August 8, 2023 or later to meet the Virginia requirement of within one year prior to the start of the school year .

Yowell - April 24, 2024 5:00-6:00 p.m.
Emerald Hill - April 25, 2024 5:00-6:00 p.m.
Sycamore Park - May 1, 2024 4:30-6:00 p.m.
Farmington - May 2, 2024 5:30-6:30 p.m.
Pearl Sample - May 8, 2024 6:00-7:30 p.m.
Preschool Registration
Children who turn four (4) on or before September 30, 2024 and meet VPI income requirements are eligible to attend preschool. Registration does not guarantee placement. The VPI Coordinator will schedule a follow-up meeting with parents, as additional documentation will be required.
Preschool programs are dependent upon federal, state and local funding. To register your child, please visit: www.culpeperschools.org on or after April 9, 2024.
NOTE: All current preschool students should complete registration for next year as a “new student.”
New student registration for grades 1 through 12 for 2024-2025 will open Tuesday, June 4, 2024
