Hello Sycamore Park Families! Time is running out for you to purchased the CCPS Chromebook Protection Plan for $30. You have until next Thursday to purchase! As of August 1st, there are no more "free" accidental breakages available for Chromebooks. This means that if your student in grades 1 - 12 accidently drops their CB in class this year and breaks the screen, the parent will be responsible for paying for the damage. Currently the price for a new screen is $53. However, if the parent/student purchases the CCPS Chromebook Protection Plan for $30, there would be no cost. This Protection Plan covers up to 2 accidental breakages per school year. That's right! It covers 2 accidental breakages each school year. However, if it is determined that the damage was done on purpose (coloring on keyboard, punching screen, etc), then the whole amount to repair the device would be charged. Do you have questions? If so, please read the flyers below or reach out to SPES. You can either send cash/check in an envelope next week with your child's/children's name on it or you can login to https://www.culpeperschools.org/o/ccps/page/school-cash to pay online.
