First graders in Ms. Van Pelt’s class are becoming pattern pros! 🔵🔴🟡
Students used a variety of hands-on manipulatives to build repeating patterns, then translated their designs onto whiteboards using letters. They also worked to identify the pattern core—the part that repeats—strengthening both their math and reasoning skills.
Learning is even more meaningful (and fun!) when students can see, build, and explain their thinking! 💡 #HandsOnLearning #FirstGradeFun #MathInAction

📚 We had a fantastic time celebrating Read Across America Week!
Students and staff joined in the fun with a spirit week full of creativity. We saw twin outfits, book character costumes, and lots of Tiger pride around the school. One student even brought his imagination to life by dressing as his own original character, Super Stickman, from a comic book he created!
We wrapped up the week with a Salute to Seuss magic show, bringing stories and reading to life in a magical way.
Thank you to everyone who helped make the week such a fun celebration of reading! 📖✨

Today was full of school spirit (and syrup! 🥞)!
Our teachers proudly rocked their tattoos from our “Tattoo a Teacher” fundraiser — and let’s just say, they wore them WELL! 💪🎉 From silly designs to bold statements, our staff showed that they’re always willing to go the extra mile to support our students.
To top it off, our amazing team was treated to a mini pancake breakfast bar this morning as a small thank-you for everything they do each and every day. Because if anyone deserves pancakes AND temporary ink, it’s our teachers! ❤️
Thank you to everyone who supported the fundraiser and helped make today such a sweet success!
